What's my available balance?

Love is a two way process.

When you love someone, you may not expect anything from that person in return but we must face the fact that time will come you’ll feel yourself empty. We have what we call emotional bank. Just like ang ordinary bank, ditto natin iniipon yung mga feelings natin and at the same time, ditto ntin hinuhugot yung feelings natin. Parents, friends, relatives or even enemies.

Boy: I love you..
Girl: Aaww.. sweet.. thank you..
Boy: (silent. Yun na yon?) yeah. Sweet ko noh?

What if one day, we kept on “withdrawing” from our emotional bank ng walang kapalit? Just like any bank account.
Just like any bank account, we have the power to control its “available balance”. We must know kung kelan mag wiwithdraw, kung ano ang idedeposit, at kung kelan dapat tumigil. Mahirap gawin kasi masarap gamitin ang laman ng emotional bank natin pero in the end, ikaw pa din ang maiiwanang luhaan pag wala nang natira sa’yo.
